Our very favorite partners are the local private schools in the area, who have come to do community service at Friday Soup every week for more than 20 years.

 

The kids – from the age of 9 – have the chance to learn about caring for those less fortunate than themselves, while doing genuine service to the community.

 

The schools also take on many special projects to benefit Friday Soup like organizing food drives; buying and wrapping warm socks; making wool scarves; buying and wrapping needed toiletries like soap, toothpaste and lip balm.
